the Angmarie Design Studio experience
The Process
My design process is structured to provide the best experience for the homeowner, designer, contractor and other trades. I pride myself on this process and am confident it its ability to perform with any project.
Initial Consultation
A 1 hour initial consultation is provided at no cost. This consultation involves meeting on site to discuss your wants and desires. Our goal will be to capture the design scope, investment estimate and aesthetic direction. I will also go over in detail the process I use and what it's like to work with AngMarie Design Studio.
Conceptual Design Phase
After signing on as a client we will begin the conceptual design phase. We will document the existing space, get more in detail with your wants, gather inspiration and set the design direction. We will also conduct a trade day to check feasibility.
Detailed Design Phase
In the detailed design phase we solidify the design details with a fully developed set of CAD drawings. All material selections from floor to ceiling and proposals will be created to begin procurement.
Purchasing and Execution
During this phase details will be communicated to vendors and trades. Orders will be placed. Help with coordinating deliveries and installations. Site visits to ensure work being done follows the design plan.
Project Completion
Near the end of the project a final meeting and walkthrough is held with all parties; client, designer and contractor. A punch list will be made of any final adjustments or refinements and a complete spec book is given to the client will all details of their project.
